What Is JC/T 2893-2025? (Official Definition)

JC/T 2893-2025 is China's first specialized national standard for WPC recycling and recycled material grading, issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It standardizes the full workflow of waste WPC collection, sorting, crushing, contamination detection, performance testing, and recycled material classification.

The standard covers PE-based and PVC-based WPC products — the two mainstream materials for exterior wall cladding, ceiling panels, outdoor decking, and garden fencing. It excludes only medical-grade and dangerous-packaging WPC materials, covering nearly all construction and decoration WPC products for export.
